not my favorite.

so, i just had a totally dumb experience. i was having a phone conversation where i needed to make a point (to someone not too interested in hearing it) because we (yes, my child & myself) were wronged. they were trying to talk over me so that I couldn't (make my point), and so that they could (make their own point). which is all wrong because they were clearly wrong. and as i was making my point (cause i'm right and they're wrong and apparently i needed to let them know that and also explain how it could have been handled more appropriately) and not letting them interrupt me, they hung up on me. HUNG UP. hung up the freaking phone on me. i don't think i've been hung up on since like 1990-something. this was not a cursing, yelling, heated argument (like you see in the movies when you're shouting at the screen, "hang up on them!"). this was literally 2 people talking over each other to make a point, and the one who was right (i'm not backing down) got hung up on. oh my word, the frustration running through my body is completely foreign to me (thank goodness because it used to be my life) and i'm simply flabbergasted.

off to breathe in.....breathe out.....and get a grip before i go get my child from school. happy monday.
