i'll admit, there were many goofy moments...particularly between my mom and i. and after we endured family photos, ate tamales & chuy's-to-go, and had our family gift exchange we attempted the TrailofLights (3hrs in the car & arrived after it closed), but managed to get to the BIGtree. it was fun once we were under it, but the trek to get there almost did my grandma in. we won't be able to do that ever again. even still, i love some of these shots...
doesn't my grandma look adorable all bundled up?? love that lady!
