i am feeling like such a good momma...

this neglected, overworked, completely used, rarely appreciated little guy is all taken care of!! i had no idea how heavily these worries weighed on my mind. until today that is...as i drove my smooth riding beauty home from the shop. my mind was free of worry, my heart full of gratitude, and seriously more emotional than i ever anticipated feeling about my little car.

& this cute boy

has lots of things in place (11 currently and 2 more for me to actively pursue) to make his emotional worries and frustrations more manageable. i'm hoping he has tools to last a lifetime. if ever there was a wonder why grad school (Family and Child Studies specifically) was a necessity, the importance is more and more clear every day (literally every day). in my own family & for myself personally. in our home we are currently working on a day to day basis...and today was a darn good day.
