late night recap and ramble.

i'm sitting in my owl apron (which still makes me smile from the inside out), without child as he enjoys some kid family time with his cousins (he's currently finishing up a big bowl of popcorn and watching School of Rock...and i think he got a little flat-ironed-mohawk-makeover by his 5 girl cousins today...), and basking in the glow of a good day. it was productive, full, spiritual, uplifting, and fun. beth was my partner in most of it.
6am- up and cleaning...actually picking up the monstrous mess in which we were calling home
8am- shower...i washed my hair and all! i love those showers.
9am- employee meeting at the drive in (of which 4 out of about 20ish employees actually attended)
10:24am- leave for a speedy trip to san antonio
11:50somethin'am- arrive frantic at the temple cause we are running so late
12pm- alas slipping into our temple session...shew.
2:30pm- head home to austin
2:45pm- my cute boy calls to request a 2nd sleepover in a row...he's having a way fun time with his cousins and can't imagine an end just yet. my answer? more mommy time???...yes!
5:30pm- lying down for a nap
6pm- making a happy birthday somethin' somethin' for an amigo who's house & pets i'm watching while he hikes mountains and his cute wife runs a marathon and studies away at school.
6:30pm-ish- mosey around the store with beth and her cute maelynn. more girl time...in the same day. lucky? yes, i think so.
10pm-ish- checking in on shooter (dog) and josie (cat) and hanging up the above bday sign for a surprise when he arrives home tomorrow. pets taken care of? check. home safe? check. a bazillion coupons that were attached the door now piled on the table? check. running like heck because it was so dark and spooky trying to lock the locks (in the dark and in the way complicated way in which you have to do it) and i totally scared myself to death?? check.
10:30pm- home. apron on immediately. content in my picked up (not sparkling clean, but so picked up) home. blOgging, and about to watch elf until my eyes will no longer stay open. at which point i will crawl into bed.

no JOBto update on (THE question of the moment, so i felt it was worthy of mentioning). i am taking on every mascot (not just owls and cougars) as i will be spending 3 days a week subbing and 2 days still hanging out at the drive in. i will move on from that place...one day. :)
i actually feel quite good about that plan. i'll get to visit lots of schools, see how i feel inside, with the admin, staff, students, and also network myself. and still have the cash that the drive in provides.
i also just got a new calling at church so my world is still going to be quite busy. in addition, i've got my eye on an institute class i am thinking of incorporating (if it's not too disruptive for me and the boy). and beth has her eye on a cute boy she'd like me to meet. well, really she just says he's my boy twin so we should have children together. perhaps a husband could be good. :)

before i start rambling about oh...more stuff cause my brain is packed full of everything...i will go.
goodnight.
