my aunt's 50th is a have-to-blog for a couple of reasons.

first of all: the HAIR. oh my word. it's wonderful. how does one turn 50 and look younger?? oh yes...great hair.

the day was filled with shopping (my mother and i at her beck and call) as we all searched for items on the wish list. the afternoon/evening ended with some specialty shops in SoCo and dinner. the food wasn't fabulous, but the ambiance was. there was a lot of laughing, visiting, eating, a close call fire situation (after all it was 50 candles!), a crazy gift card mix up which landed our server with an accidental $60tip!! and even at one moment my mom with a few sporadic tears soaking in the good time shared. i really think a HAPPY50th birthday.
