happy sunday.

have i mentioned i love my church?? cause i really do.

we had a successful primary activity day yesterday (success based on smooth planning, just as simple implementation, happy kiddos...happy while learning!, and a great group of teachers and leaders and parents who showed up to help out). it all equals a perfectly content me who has never planned a shindig of this sort before. helping children feel a closer connection to their eternal family and to Heavenly Father...is their a success that touches ones core more??

my cute boy wrote a letter to himself today. he slipped it into an envelope, wrote his name on it, and sealed it. i learned in the car that he is to open it on his mission. and when i got a good glance at the envelope, i saw that it said Elder"Alec". how cool are these teachers of his?! what a memento he's going to love. i love the idea of my young self writing to my older self!

it's peaceful in my home right now...the blissful kind of peaceful. the moment that you want to keep forever because it's just so quiet and beautiful and still (even in spite of the dishes and laundry and such). the boy is resting, i just got up from resting, and in bit we'll go see a friend get baptized. lots of sweet experiences this weekend. even with the cute boys busted lip that we nearly got stitches for at 11:30 last night...life just goes like that.
