NEWS: beep beep.

THIS KITE HAS NEWS.

so as the saga continues to unfold, i will let you in on a little newsflash update.
i am a roadrunner.
yep, i said it.
beep beep.

i'm not totally excited about this, but it pays the bills. and i get to hang out with cute 8year olds all day. i am excited about that. i'm not jaded, i know some will be stinkers. but it will be good. we will hang out. we will stress out and de-stress. we will learn and sometimes just bide time. we will bond, i'm sure of it. and at years end i will be sad to see them go. i have a teacher heart resting in my deeply embedded mother heart. but before we talk about the end, we have to talk about the getting through it. and before that we have to focus on the getting started.

cause i will in fact have my new kiddos thursday. which makes tomorrow moving day. the same day as parent night;) should i repeat that? cause are you wondering if you heard me right? cause i said PARENT NIGHT IS THE SAME DAY AS MOVING DAY. it's also the same day the kiddos find out they will even be having a new teacher. ohhhhh the parent conversations i will have! tomorrow is going to be interesting and hard and weird. whew! should i also mention to you that my special week of the month that makes me a particularly emotional girl is expected tomorrow(ish)? i should tell you. cause i'm that girl. i'm that girl that gives details. you must know my every detail.
okay, okay, so i'm off to turn things with kites into things with roadrunners. and things with stars into...well, whatever they use for behavior management. it's going to be fine. i will have a smooth as pie moment. i will.
isn't HF mindful of me? doesn't he know? then i should have faith, close my eyes and just go.
p.s. my team leader (there are 5 of us 3rd grade teachers on the team) was MY3rd GRADE TEACHER! that's MYteacher as in 1980something when i was a wee 8 year old myself! yep, that's right. beep beep.

Wow! (What news!) Yay! (Hooray! A class to teach!) Oh man. (Why not invite your monthly visitor to join in on the fun?) No way! (your 3rd grade teacher to lead and mentor you?)

I think it's awesome the way you are acknowledging every particle of your feelings and that you're okay with it. This sounds like the most level-headed Stephanie we've heard from in weeks. Yes, so many elements of WO---Hold on!, but you will do just fine. I know it.

Beep, beep! Over n' out.

Stephanie--

That is exciting new news to hear. I am so glad that you know Heavenly Father is mindful of you. What a wonderful experience you are about to embark on. :) I know you will be wonderful.
