this is a picture of a lot of CONVERSE tennis shoes:
and here is yet another pair of CONVERSE:
so what do you call ONE (just 1) of these shoes?
i need answers.
i need comments aplenty.
i need outside opinions people because I am alone (shockingly alone) thus far in the debate (i'm talking the numbers are building greatly against me, and i can't believe it's even a question!).
SO, when you can't find ONE of your CONVERSE tennis shoes, what do you say?
what do YOUcall just 1??

Could you help me find my converse?
i have plenty pair and i always say "i cant find my con"...but my plural version is "cons"! So that may be where it was derived :)
my hubby refers to them as chucks, but he's never lost just one of them! i guess he would say "i can't find one of my chucks"??? good luck on this one!
?? So confused as to what the singular might be...is converse plural? does it actually mean "to converse"? I have no idea...
totally silly, i know! the boy calls 1 a "conver" and apparently so do all of his friends. without prompting i hear them saying it and i think it's so funny. it's a coverSE. 1, 2, or 10...that's what i say anyway.;)
