is it 2:50 yet?

today in the classroom i....
removed all scissors from plain sight and hid them
restrained a desk once (i didn't get there in time for the first tip over)
calmed stressed out students with a discussion about biographies and the wonderful likes of brainpop jr. (oh how lovely technology is to take you out of the moment sometimes)
had a student make a phone call for assistance...without ever teaching her how to actually make that phone call (i'll be teaching her in a bit)
had another teacher come in and teach the whole group while i stayed in a zone with the one...and success occured (woot woot!)
i've never been so happy to see the clock turn 11:02...lunch time (aka 15 minutes of detox for ms.G)
