once upon a productive day (you know the kind of day where you do ALL the things that have been left over on all previous lists because you just couldn't get to them?) i was happily tending to my new list. after a full early morning I stopped into honda to get something done to the carro. but i couldn't get said thing done without an electrical diagnostic blah blah which would take a couple of hours. sooo.......i opted out knowing it would interfere with picking up my cute boy from school and went to a store to spend a gift card instead. i was inside about 3 minutes (totally knew what i wanted) and slipped back into my car.

into my newly paid off car that i opted out of fixing approximately 10 minutes before.
into my newly paid off car that i opted to not fix and that now wouldn't start.
it's the way it works right?
so, my mom rescued me and fed me lunch.
and let me borrow her car.
and after a tow truck ride, an electrical diagnostic test (after all), and a little issue that was music to my ears.....i landed myself a new battery.
shew!
a good friend put the battery in for me, my neighbor fed my boy enchiladas, and i slipped back into my life this evening ready to be with the boy.
i really just want to lounge and watch a movie....is that allowed?
i'm thinking maybe yes. :)

yuck. Car problems are the WORST! I'm glad your mom was there to help. hooray! Thank goodness it was just a battery- getting cars fixed is sooo expensive and i always feel really dumb.
