myTREE.

so there's this tree.  it's a big, grand, beautiful tree.  a breathtaking tree.  i love it because once you step under it it's as though you've entered another land.  really.  i'm not exaggerating.  it's like being inside a tent, only looking up you are engulfed in branches and leaves.  it towers over a huge amount of space with it's strong thick trunk sturdy in the center.  i couldn't love it more. 

there are many elements to this tree, it's location, and it's surroundings that make me fall more and more in love with it.....well, actually that allow me to become even more solidified in all things good about it (there was no contemplating the love part).  so while others simply head out for a day at the park and walk right through the beauty of "my" tree without even realizing, i've spent hours envisioning events, festivities and celebrations.  i mostly see WHITE.  round tables and white linens, lights, white pumpkins, and every other detail imaginable for a perfect early November wedding reception.  this is what i am most infatuated with at the moment.

i just had the boy's shindig at the tree, and introduced "it" to the family.  i think they are beginning to see my vision.  mum was adamant NO WAY when i first told her (months and months, maybe even years, ago).  but i can't shake it.  and yesterday i came across this....

and the deal was most certainly sealed.  myTREE will done a beautiful lacy attire for my wedding reception.  the entire thing.  every branch (or realistically mostly every branch).  and white balls of light will glow hanging from the branches adding to the enchantment.  and it will be bliss.

and then we will ride away in an old vintage car to our happily ever after;)
