a moment.

this picture has come through my blog before, but i find it rather appropriate to share with you again. you see, this is my "look." you know the one that shows those moments of "wow, i think i've had it" or "really, let's get it together"? the thing is, there's nothing to be had (although much to get together). it's really the look of P.M.S. ruling my week and at the root of my bipolar-like episodes. one minute i am happy as can be and the next i am panicking about all there is to do. perhaps it's because i am only borderline in control of all there is to do, so i am swaying back and forth with it emotionally. and not borderline in control because it's not in my hands, but more because i just barely have a grip on it. or perhaps it really is just all intensified today...and for the next few. :) it's like how they say if you don't like the weather in texas, wait a minute (cause it is forever changing drastically). it's the same with me in my fragile state...if you don't like my moment, wait a minute and i'll be smiling.
my biggest grrrr of the moment?
no stinkin' camera! i'm frustrated about the moments that are passing that aren't being captured. or the blog ideas being stored in my head because i can't actually DO them.
another biggest grrrr?
i dropped my chi yesterday...and now it won't turn on. very very sad.
yet another grrr?
my feet HURT. i need new tennis shoes and all the ones that support my freakishly flat feet are a million dollars. and all the cute flat shoes i wear all the time are not so bueno for my sensitive feetsies. i'm feeling a bit old today in all of this.
a rant of grrrs?
the sun spots on my face...which is not helped by the amount of time i am actually in the sun at camp, or with how much i just completely love to soak in the sun!
and the price of a small tube of miracle cream for those sun spots...holy moly!
the pressure to find a job for august, and all of the logistics i am looking for to be the ideal situation.
and again, my personal desire for an assistant to just help me in life. i have a to do list that i'd like to finally conquer.
you see, not completely life threatening awful things, but enough that would slightly alter my calm peaceful demeanor. and i don't get back to that screened in porch until Friday.
oh!
too much complaining...and now I'm cramping.
off to get some of these things done so i can smile again!!

I can't believe you didn't list cramping as your biggest grrrr! That is my absolutely LEAST fave in the world. Grrr.

BTW, I'd love to be your assistant but I don't see that happening until I'm about 50. But let me know if you're still in the market then! :)

ha! oh mindy, YOU need an assistant!! you need the assistant of all assistants. yes, I believe you just put me and my mind frame a bit in perspective. it's crazy the responsibility we are "blessed" with. good, wonderful, happy things (in your case the MOSt beautiful) and yet, our eyes are big and questionable as to how in the world we will really do it!

ps- when you are 50 you just might have a slew of grandkids beginning! isn't that crazy to think about?!
