home from completely spontaneous trip to see a really cute cousin turn 4.
home from gathering a huge new collection of treasures.
home from visiting family, and loving it.
home from the country.

home to no power (because of a nearby powerstation explosion).
home to a trashed house (that we were happy to split from when we did).
home to dishes, laundry, and stuff herethereandeverywhere.
home to no ac, no tv, no internet, no hot water, and 1 bar left on the cell phone battery (and to hoping that we'd get word on what was going to happen to all 19,000 of us in our round rock/austin area with no power).
home to dishes by candlelight...which i happened to love and might be incorporating into the routine (seriously try it).
home to the cute boy practicing his percussion piece and feeling proud of his progress.
home to unpacking and giving our home its new treasures. by candlelight.

currently bagging up the yard sale clothes and items (yes, there's more already).
currently putting away clothes....to unearth my bed.
currently spreading my AMAZING tempur-pedic dream(!!) i found at a yard sale to give me pleasant dreams.
currently covering it with my anthro love (i got on craigslist) which also gives me pleasant dreams.
currently setting my alarm to a particularly early time (not the 3am times of last school year though!) to grade and such.
currently anticipating waking up to finish the boy's preparations for his first football game.
currently anticipating round top and general conference.
currently feeling rejuvenated about life.
