grading = my nemesis.

she will quickly turn into
her:
tomorrow i'm recruiting a cute 12 year old cousin (to my cute boy) to help me wrap this crap up.  did i just say that?  out loud?  okay, well, i mean to finish grading papers.  the cute cousin doesn't even want to charge me because "it's just too fun!!!"
in school i used to think (about my teachers): YOU GET WHAT YOU GET...YOU assigned the work.  you know?  that makes perfect sense to me.  so there was no remorse from me when teachers had to turn around and grade.
and now i'm a teacher and i know there's no way around the grading mumbo jumbo, and it stiiiiiiiiinks.  i suppose i was destined to feel the feeling of finals/papers/pressured panic, etc. for quite a while.

tomorrow friends, i will wrap it up and breathe easy.

it likely also means there's a post coming about our recent visitors.  quite a fun time:)
toodles!

UPDATE: we (me, the cute boy's 12 year old cousin and 11 year old cousin...aka my angels of the day) were trapped in the non-windowed box that i spend my days teaching in from 11:30am to 8:45pm(!!!) grading papers.  you read that right!  we spent 9 of our precious saturday hours (i gave them many opportunities to leave) grading and inputing grades for report cards.  oh.my.word.
GOAL THIS WEEK: demand someone help me come up with a system that makes sense, cause this one's for the birds!!
